ARTIST STATEMENT
My name is Joy Currier Hamnqvist and I grew up on our family farm in New Hampshire. I have been photographing nature and scenery since I was kid. I have spent many hours in the orchards admiring the trees and surrounding beauty. Like many, I feel most at home when I'm outdoors. I enjoy capturing the moment so I can be transported back to the field with the wind in my hair and sunshine on my shoulders. Nature is my favorite place to be. Through my work, viewers can feel the sense of contentment and peace that nature provides.
