ARTIST STATEMENT
I have lived long, and art has always been the backbone of my life. Creativity, I believe is the key to unlocking the innate power in a persons life.
From commercial artist on the West Coast in the late 60s to a degree in Fine Art, I then went on to teaching. I have always been a realist impressionist painter. Now, the time has come for new growth and a new journey of discovery.
I like to paint the beauty and mystery of nature. Paintings that are from nature, paintings of who we are and how we effect and are affected by the world around us. The natural world is a mirror of who we are and how we live.
