ARTIST STATEMENT
Breaking free from the mundanity of the banal, I have found painting and storytelling to be a source of comfort, an alluring escape. By engaging my imagination through the mediums of ink and watercolor, I slip away to conjure a winsome reality of my choosing. This abundant enthusiasm manifests itself visually through bright, saturated watercolor palettes. But the pastels and whimsical flourishes can mask an unbridled sensuality and hidden danger. I invite the viewer, therefore, to encounter my paintings with an inquiring eye. May you discern the stories that lie beneath to enter a frolicsome world of my own making.
